FAQs
Q: I have an event coming up - when should I schedule my spray tan?
2 days prior to your event is ideal, but anywhere from 1-3 days prior to the event will have you with a fresh glow for the big day! Remember, your tan should be the last beauty procedure you book. Be sure to schedule your nail appointment, waxing, facial, massage, etc., at least 24-hours prior to your tan.
Q: I’m pregnant/nursing/have a skin or medical condition, is airbrush tanning safe for me?
Please reach out to me directly at glowgetterairbrush@gmail.com. I am happy to send over an ingredient list for you to share with your doctor.
Q: What should I wear?
To your appointment, wear dark, loose, long-sleeves and long pants. You will need to remain in long sleeves and pants until your first rinse. During the appointment, you can get as undressed as you feel comfortable. You can leave on any of your own undergarments if you’d like, otherwise I provide complimentary disposable undergarments as well.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
Any last-minute cancellations or no-shows will be charged a $25 cancellation fee to the card on file.
Q: How white will my teeth get?
Results vary, but most clients see their teeth lighten by 4-7 shades in one session. Teeth that have been stained by external factors (coffee, tea, red wine, dark sauces) tend to lighten more than teeth than have been discolored due to trauma, fluorosis or tetracycline use (grayish tint).

Women who are breastfeeding or pregnant should not undergo the teeth whitening service
Q: Is the teeth whitening performed by a dental professional?
No, this is a cosmetic, self-administered service, not a dental procedure. We provide the tools and guidance, and you perform the application yourself. At no time will your mouth or teeth be touched by any of our technicians.
Q: What if I need to cancel?
Please give at least 24-hour notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Q: How long will the tan last?
Depending on how closely you follow the pre- and post-tan care as well as the nature of your skin, a regular solution tan can last up to approximately 10 days, and a rapid solution tan can last approximately 7 days. Please note-these are estimates and not a guarantee. How long your tan lasts depends on how well you care for it!
Q: How old do I have to be to get an airbrush tan?
Any client under 18 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian to complete the tanning waiver, absolutely no exceptions!
Q: Will I look orange?
At Glow Getter, orange is NEVER an option! All appointments begin with a thorough consultation with one of our knowledgeable technicians. From there, we will consider your skin tone, desired level of tan and the event you are tanning for to have you leaving with a natural, sun-kissed glow.
Q: When will I be able to shower?
If you opt for a regular-solution tan, you will rinse no sooner than 8 hours after your session. For a rapid-solution tan, you will rinse 1-4 hours after your session, depending on how dark you’d like to be. (The longer the rapid solution is left on, the darker it will become.)
Q: How soon will I see results?
You will see results immediately.
Q: Can I whiten my teeth if I have sensitive teeth?
Yes, but you may experience temporary sensitivity. If you know you’re prone to sensitivity, we recommend shortening your session times if needed, taking breaks between rounds, using a sensitivity toothpaste before and after the whitening service, purchasing Minerals enamel booster & desensitizing gel after care product.
Q: Do I need to prep my teeth before my teeth whitening appointment?
Simply brush and floss your teeth before your appointments, and avoid arriving with food or debris on your teeth. Your kit includes a prep wipe that you will use.
Q: If there an age requirement for teeth whitening?
Yes, tht teeth whitening service can not be performed on clients under age 14. Clients under age 18 will need their parent/guardian present to complete the service waiver at the time of their appointment.
